What bed size is best for a child of a certain age?
Buying a children’s bed is usually not an easy task, so before making the final decision, you should think carefully about your requirements and needs.
When choosing a children’s bed, we should consider four things:
- the amount of space available in the child’s room,
- the child’s age,
- how long the child will use the bed,
- design – color, shape, material and finish.
The most popular bed size for children aged 1 to 4 is 160×80 cm. Sometimes, however, parents immediately choose sizes such as 180×90 cm, 200×90 cm or even larger.
A larger bed for a child of this age is certainly a good choice if you want your child to use it for a long time. A large bed is also worth considering if there is plenty of space in the child’s room. A bigger bed provides the perfect place for creative play.
For a child older than 4, it is advisable to buy a bed in the size of 200×90 cm or larger. Popular bed sizes for older children include models measuring 200×120 cm. A bed this large can easily be used by a child until their teenage years, without the risk of it suddenly becoming too small.
Our store offers various models of children’s beds suitable for children of all ages. In addition, our range also includes classic models for teenagers – Luik, Pomba, Loro and Tikka – which stand out thanks to their minimalist Scandinavian design.
All the beds we offer are available in a very wide range of sizes, so they can fit perfectly into the space of the child’s room. In addition to beds, we also sell high-quality mattresses in sizes perfectly matched to the dimensions of the beds.
By purchasing a set – a bed with a mattress – you eliminate the risk of individual elements not fitting together.
