Meet our top model of the house bed. At night, Meli will provide your child with a safe place to sleep and, during the day, it will become a place to play and relax. This model offers the option of mounting the front roof beam (or not) according to your needs. This allows you to have a full roof or an open space at the front to make it easier to climb into the cot.
The beds we offer are certified and made under strict supervision. Bearing in mind the natural environment, our suppliers use only wood obtained from legal sources (i.e., from forests specially cultivated for wood production). In addition, for the sake of the environment, we do not include paper instructions – they are available online – and the beds are packed using the minimum amount of plastic. Thanks to you, we will plant a beautiful forest. Each bed you buy is one tree planted in the TreeTale forest.

Additional information
Raw materials – the bed is made of first-class natural pine wood. Natural wood beds are very solid and durable. The wood is thoroughly burnished and polished to reflect the smoothness of natural wood accurately. Thanks to these treatments, no other chemical wood protection agents are necessary to secure the bed (no lacquers, stain varnishes, etc.). The polishing treatments guarantee 100% smoothness of the wood.
The beds are painted in a two-stage process that ensures durability and safety.
First, the wood is coated with Tikkurila Akvi Isolator primer, which closes the pores, protects against discoloration and moisture, and prepares the surface for the finish.
Next, the final layer of Tikkurila Akvi TOP DS25 is applied, giving the bed its beautiful, even color and long-lasting protection.
Bed mattress – the set does not include a mattress. It must be purchased separately according to your preferences. The mattress should have the same width and length as the bed frame and a height of 8 cm to 12 cm.

UPPER BAR – THE CHOICE IS YOURS
The design of the Meli bed can be modified. One of the modifications that we can introduce is the lack of the upper bar in front of the bed. If you want to provide easier access to the bed, removing the bar is definitely a good idea. However, if you want to keep the bed in its original shape, this bar will be great as an additional element that can be used in creative playing and decorated ingeniously. The bar is included with the bed.
WITH OR WITHOUT A SAFETY RAIL
The Meli bed offers several safety rail options that differ in their construction and visual finish, while maintaining the same level of comfort, stability, and safety. This allows you to choose the solution that best matches your interior style and long-term needs.
You can configure the bed in one of the following ways:
- without a safety rail
- with a removable front safety rail
- with a fixed front safety rail
Both removable and fixed safety rails are designed to work naturally with the bed frame. The removable rail can be taken off when it is no longer needed, while the fixed rail is an integral part of the bed structure.
Each option creates a slightly different visual effect, giving you flexibility in shaping the final look of the bed.
In both cases, the safety rail can be installed on the left or right side of the bed, making it easy to adapt the bed to the room layout.
TALLER BED FEET? NO PROBLEM
The Meli bed has been designed in line with Montessori principles. The bed feet are only 3 cm tall, and the mattress is located low over the floor. Such a design promotes the child’s self-sufficiency and independence as it may get into the bed and out of it safely without anyone’s help.
However, the short feet are only one of the available options. It is also possible to make the bed feet taller by 10 or even 20 cm. If you decide to make the Meli bed 20 cm taller, it is possible to include a drawer underneath it.
Pull-out drawer
A practical extra space for sleepovers, storage, or both. The Meli drawer helps keep everyday life organised and adds useful space under the bed. Choosing a drawer increases the total bed height by 20 cm. Each drawer is equipped with wheels for easy pull-out and has a height of 19 cm.
Choose the option that fits your needs:
Single drawer (sleeping & storage)
- Can be used as an extra sleeping space or for storage in most bed sizes,
- for beds with a width of 120 cm and 140 cm, the drawer is narrower due to a central reinforcement bar, so it works best as storage.
Double drawer (storage)
- Two compartments with a solid bottom,
- ideal for storing bedding, toys, and other items,
- drawer depth: 50 cm.

Drawer mattress – the set does not include a mattress for the drawer. This one must be purchased separately. The mattress for the drawer must be 10cm shorter than the length of the bed. For example, for a 200 x 90cm bed, the mattress for the drawer is 190 x 90cm.
In the case of beds with a width of 120cm and 140cm (and with a reinforcing beam), the mattress for the drawer is 10cm shorter and narrower. For example, for a 200 x 120cm bed, the size is 190 x 50cm and, for a 200 x 140cm bed, it amounts to 190 x 60cm.
