Vedo is a practical 2-in-1 children’s bed that combines a low Montessori floor bed with a classic bed raised by 20 cm. It can be easily adapted as your child grows, offering independence and safety at first, and a more traditional sleeping height later.
Additional information
Raw materials – the bed is made of first-class natural pine wood. Natural wood beds are very solid and durable. The wood is thoroughly burnished and polished to reflect the smoothness of natural wood accurately. Thanks to these treatments, no other chemical wood protection agents are necessary to secure the bed (no lacquers, stain varnishes, etc.). The polishing treatments guarantee 100% smoothness of the wood.
The beds are painted in a two-stage process that ensures durability and safety.
First, the wood is coated with Tikkurila Akvi Isolator primer, which closes the pores, protects against discoloration and moisture, and prepares the surface for the finish.
Next, the final layer of Tikkurila Akvi TOP DS25 is applied, giving the bed its beautiful, even color and long-lasting protection.
The beds we offer are certified and made under strict supervision. Bearing in mind the natural environment, our suppliers use only wood obtained from legal sources (i.e., from forests specially cultivated for wood production). In addition, for the sake of the environment, we do not include paper instructions – they are available online – and the beds are packed using the minimum amount of plastic. Thanks to you, we will plant a beautiful forest. Each bed you buy is one tree planted in the TreeTale forest.
Bed mattress – the set does not include a mattress. It must be purchased separately according to your preferences. The mattress should have the same width and length as the bed frame and a height of 8 cm to 12 cm.

A bed that grows with your child
The greatest advantage of this bed is its flexibility. At first, it can be used as a low Montessori floor bed with a safety rail, supporting your child’s independence and making it easy to get in and out freely. The low design creates a safe, comfortable sleeping space for the early years.
As your child grows, the bed can be modified by adding 20 cm blocks to the legs, creating a higher bed suitable for an older child. When your child is ready for a more classic look, you can also remove the safety rail, giving the bed a simpler, more timeless form.
You can also choose a practical drawer and slide it under the bed in the 20 cm leg version, gaining additional storage space for bedding, toys, or everyday essentials.

Safety rail
The Vedo bed is equipped with a removable safety rail that creates a more secure and comfortable sleeping space, especially for children transitioning from a cot to their first larger bed. The rail can be installed on the left or right side, allowing the entrance to be adapted easily to the room layout and the child’s everyday needs.
When additional protection is no longer required, the rail can be removed quickly and conveniently, transforming Vedo into a simple, open bed without the need to replace the entire frame.
Pull-out drawer
A practical extra space for sleepovers, storage, or both. The Vedo drawer helps keep everyday life organised and adds useful space under the bed. To install the drawer, the bed must be fitted with 20 cm leg risers. Each drawer is equipped with wheels for easy pull-out and has a height of 19 cm.
Choose the option that fits your needs:
Single drawer (sleeping & storage)
- Can be used as an extra sleeping space or for storage in most bed sizes,
- for beds with a width of 120 cm and 140 cm, the drawer is narrower due to a central reinforcement bar, so it works best as storage.
Double drawer (storage)
- Two compartments with a solid bottom,
- ideal for storing bedding, toys, and other items,
- drawer depth: 50 cm.

Drawer mattress – the set does not include a mattress for the drawer. This one must be purchased separately. The mattress for the drawer must be 10 cm shorter than the length of the bed. For example, for a 200 x 90 cm bed, the mattress for the drawer is 190 x 90 cm.
In the case of beds with a width of 120 cm and 140 cm (and with a reinforcing beam), the mattress for the drawer is 10cm shorter and narrower. For example, for a 200 x 120 cm bed, the size is 190 x 50 cm and, for a 200 x 140 cm bed, it amounts to 190 x 60 cm.
