The Kuma bed is a unique piece of furniture designed with the youngest ones in mind – low, safe, and perfect for a room inspired by the Montessori philosophy. What makes it special? The distinctive round openings in the guardrails not only give the structure a light and airy feel, but also serve as a playful and functional design feature – kids absolutely love them! Crafted from natural wood with impeccable attention to detail, the bed combines thoughtful design and top-notch quality, making it a perfect fit for modern, child-friendly interiors.
The beds we offer are certified and made under strict supervision. Bearing in mind the natural environment, our suppliers use only wood obtained from legal sources (i.e., from forests specially cultivated for wood production). In addition, for the sake of the environment, we do not include paper instructions – they are available online – and the beds are packed using the minimum amount of plastic. Thanks to you, we will plant a beautiful forest. Each bed you buy is one tree planted in the TreeTale forest.

Additional information
Raw materials – The bed is made of pine wood plywood. Beds made of this material are very solid and durable. The plywood is carefully sanded to best emphasize the smoothness of the natural wood. Thanks to these treatments, it is no longer necessary to protect the bed with any chemical wood preservatives.
The beds are painted in a two-stage process that ensures durability and safety.
First, the wood is coated with Tikkurila Akvi Isolator primer, which closes the pores, protects against discoloration and moisture, and prepares the surface for the finish.
Next, the final layer of Tikkurila Akvi TOP DS25 is applied, giving the bed its beautiful, even color and long-lasting protection.
Bed mattress – the set does not include a mattress. This must be purchased separately according to your preference. The mattress should be the same width and length as the bed frame. See our mattress offer.
Completion date – natural wood 5-10 business days, lacquered wood 20-30 business days
The cot can be used by children who can sleep independently.
