SIGELO II COMPACT – A DOUBLE BUNK BED UNLIKE ANY OTHER

Bunk beds are a very popular solution when two children share a room. Their unquestionable advantage is that they save space, which can be better used as a play area in children’s rooms. About the fact that children love bunk beds, no one needs to be convinced!

The Compact bunk bed is a practical piece of furniture which, despite its considerable size, combines lightweight and eye-friendly design with functionality. It will not only accommodate two children, but also a guest of yours if you choose the optional drawer that can used for sleeping. Just like its name suggests, the bed is compact, so you don’t need much space to enjoy all the possibilities it provides.

The Sigelo model is made entirely of pine wood. The natural material and the highest quality of workmanship, combined with its solid construction and excellent performance characteristics, make it a piece of furniture that will retain its original appearance for many years.

Attention: For the sake of safety, the bed should be fixed to the wall with screws. The risk of tipping while climbing the ladder is minimised then.

Ladder in a place of your choosing

There is a stable bed ladder in front of the bed, but it is up to you to decide whether it should be located in the middle, of perhaps on the right or left side. When customising your bed, choose the option you prefer. If the ladder is to be on the side, you will choose during installation whether to mount it on the left or right.

TALLER LEGS? NO PROBLEM

Perhaps your children no longer need a bed directly over the floor. No problem. You can choose to extend the bed legs by 10 or 20 cm.

PLEASE NOTE! If you choose extended legs, you will no longer have the option of situating the bed right on the floor.

A DRAWER THAT ADAPTS TO YOUR NEEDS

You can also add a practical drawer to the bunk bed – now available in two versions: Single and Double, so you can choose the solution that best fits your needs.

The Single drawer comes with a built-in frame, which means it can easily serve as an extra sleeping space. Just add a mattress (up to 12 cm high and 10 cm shorter than the length of the bed), and you have a cozy spot ready for sleepovers or quiet rest.

The Double drawer, with its fixed depth of 50 cm and full bottom, is a perfect storage companion. It helps you keep the room tidy by providing space for bedding, toys, board games or everyday essentials – everything within easy reach, yet neatly hidden.

Both versions are equipped with wheels, so you can smoothly slide the drawer in and out from under the bed – effortlessly and quietly, whenever you need it.

Frame

The bed is fitted with two wooden slatted frames. The dimensions of each frame are adjusted to those of the top bed and bottom bed, thus ensuring that all the elements fit one another perfectly.

Additional information

• For the sake of safety, the bed should be fixed to the wall with screws. The risk of tipping while climbing the ladder is minimised then.
• The distance between the two beds is 88 cm.
• The permissible load on the bottom bed is 90 kg
• The permissible load on the upper bed is 65 kg (because of the risk of tipping)
• For safety reasons, we recommend that the upper bed is used by children aged 6+ and the lower by children aged 3+.
• Extending the bed legs by 20 cm. The whole bed is then 20 cm higher and the mattress is 20 cm above the floor.
