Saja – 2-person bunk bed, different from all the others

Bunk beds are a very popular solution employed when two children share one room. One of their clear advantages is that they save space in children’s rooms, which can be used for playing instead. No one needs convincing that children simply love bunk beds!

The Saja bed combines all the features of a bunk bed with an interesting and attractive design, proving that a bunk bed does not need to be boring. The house-shaped design makes this large piece of furniture become not only an attractive sleeping place but also a wonderful space for playing, which the children can take advantage of during the day.

The whole Saja model is made of pine wood. Thanks to employing a natural material and to the highest quality of finishing combined with a robust design and excellent functional characteristics, this bed will retain its original appearance for many years.

Ladder mounted in front or on a side – the choice is yours to make

In the Saja bed, the ladder leading to the upper bed may be attached in the middle of the front or on a side. When choosing the ladder fixing location it is worth taking into account the shape of the room in which the bed will be standing, as well as the arrangement of the rest of its furniture. Children should have a free and safe access to the upper bed, which is why there should be no obstacles near the ladder.

Railing for the lower bed

The upper bed has a built-in railing that secures the child against falling from height. In the case of the lower bed, the railing is optional. If the lower bed is intended for a little child, who may roll from the mattress down to the floor while sleeping, it is worth considering installing security railing for it as well. Thanks to that we can be certain that the little child sleeping there will not suffer any harm.

The lower bed railing can be easily dismounted once the child is older.

Or maybe a drawer?

One of the optional accessories for the Saja house-shaped bed is the drawer under the lower bed. A great advantage of such a drawer is that it provides additional storage space for toys, clothes or bedding. When choosing a bed with a drawer it is necessary to remember that in the case of this model the mattress of the lower bed will not be located directly over the floor, but about 20 cm above it. The drawer is available only for the beds with ladder located on the side, as having it in front would make it impossible to open the drawer freely.

Bed frames

For each Saja bunk bed we provide two mattress frames free of charge. The frame size is adjusted to the size of both upper and lower bed, thanks to which we can be sure that all parts will fit one another perfectly.

Important information:

• The distance from the ground level to the storey is 100cm,
• The distance between the storeys is 88cm,
• Load capacity: upper level 60kg, lower level 90kg,
• The upper bed is designed for children over six years old and the lower storey is for children over three years old,
• Choosing the option with a drawer reduces the space between the beds by 20cm.

Additional information

Bed mattress – the set does not include a mattress. This must be purchased separately according to your preference. The mattress should be the same width and length as the bed frame and the mattress must be between 8cm and 12cm high.
